Also known as the market at St Ouen - open on weekends only.
I could go there every weekend for the rest of my life and still find something that I can't live without
Penny and Bob coveted this screen - too big for the suitcase
...and we bought this lamp. Now we have to get it back to OZ. Oh dear !
...not, 'toasted mostly' as in the famous tale, but the cheeses of France, sublimely abundant in Paris. Here's a shop I always try and come back to in the Rue Montmartre - Le Comptoire de la Gastronomie
...and here in the wonderful Rue Montorgueil which is a must every time you get to Paris, an Italian deli which manages to hold its own amongst the likes of Stohrer just a bit further down this same street. Click on the link for that very French experience

We couldn't resist spending up big in the Italian deli
... and here is the cheese that occupies my dreams - Mont d'Or - only available in the couple of months before Christmas. Warm it up in a low oven a eat it with a spoon...
Rue Montorgueil
We are in Jersey at present recovering from a particularly virulent coughing virus. Three and a half weeks in and on the third lot of antibiotics (for both of us). It is cheering to look back on Paris and the wonderful time we had there.
More to come...
