Precious things in a tent

...or to be more accurate - St Mary's Antiques and Collectables Fayre, held as a two day event in a marquee next to the Parish Hall

My friend Michael had a large display there and I went and helped him sell his wares for the two days

This part is run by his friend Carol

A local landscape gardener who loves a bit of bling - all made by a local goldsmith

Michael and another friend Amanda make these necklaces  and sell them on the same stall. All gemstones beads and silver

Michael's collection of silver and silver plate - sold pretty well

Ready for two days serious selling! Lots of cups of tea, cake and sandwiches to sustain us.

Gorey Castle at Midnight (also known in Jersey French as Lé Vièr Châté)

Walking back from dinner on the pier we stopped at the castle green for a photo opportunity

Who is that man in a hat lurking in the dark? Well, not really dark, due to the huge light beaming from the hill across the road onto the castle every evening - and it is not even a Xenon (for those of you in film who know what a Xenon light is) DM thinks it is a massive daylight Tungsten floodlight and it is about half a kilometre away
