This could be from a long time ago...

....in a faraway land....

well it may be far away to some of you, but for us it is down the road, in the Pompidou Centre - taken through a rather filthy window

Would you like antiques or bling?

Personally - I'll take both

Bling  - of the aqueous kind

Bling  - of the Jliiy Loof kind

And then there are the antique shops

Colour and movement

Yum

At the oyster bar.......

They give you a spray for olive oil with your meal

A restaurant near to us - but DM can't tell me where

At Café Julien. DM attests that it is the best salad he has ever had - what about my Vietnamese Salad I ask?

Dogs have a great life in Paris

Characters

Queuing for heaven?  Does she know that she's got her wings on upside down?

An American/Parisiennne selling scent on the footpath

The Marché de Barbès

...and a lot of colour and movement it was, for sure.
Held under the railway line, the hawkers screaming and people shouting and bodies so close that if I had fainted I would still be upright. Blimey  - a bit of a culture shock from the Loire - but a great visit.
One of the stallholders threw me an orange and I have to say it was the best Clementine I have ever eaten.

Tim & Lisa

We met this couple at a soirée at Jim Haynes atelier. More of that later.
Tim is an inventor and he has invented an indestructible football for people in underdeveloped areas and war zones. It is a remedial tool for children affected by conflict. Normal soccer balls have a very short life in those conditions and this will last forever.

They have just left Paris to go to Monaco as they have been nominated for a worldwide sports/humanitarian award there. Good luck to them both. They deserve all the help they can get.

We had a lovely lunch with them back at Cafe Hugo and hope to meet up with them again one day.

More of Deyrolle, rats and Klein

DM wanted a wider shot to show you that they are in a clothes store
