Two dog night

Here are cousin Ian's two dogs in Jersey. What fine girls they are.
It has been a lot more than a two dog night recently. I have just had a report that Heathrow is completely closed with people sleeping on the floor and -8ºC tonight. The joys of Christmas travel. Here we have a balmy 2ºC with the forecast of a warm 8ºC tomorrow. No doubt that will not last.

For those of you who don't know how many dogs to have on your bed in cold weather, I would like to think the ratio is one dog to every two degrees below freezing.
DM tells me that the traditional Aboriginal amount of dogs is three, which means it is rather nippy.
Hence the band name from the seventies "Three dog Night" for any of you that were into music at that time.
