Started out - Lost in the Loire... and sometimes, in translation... Now back in Europe…re translation - apart from French, I have no Swiss German, Austrian or Czech – should be fun

As we leave Paris on the TGV
in a blinding snow storm. I leave you with a few snaps of autumn in Durtal in the Loire, DM's favourite spot for photographing the countryside.
It seems ages since we were there - Paris was such a contrast. Both are wonderful
In the station at Montparnasse there lives a tiny fire truck. How sensible!
Our TGV was delayed due to the snowstorm and we were given lunch "on the house"
A good opportunity for DM to use his Christmas present from Catherine
What a star!!!!!
Below is another ad for my favourite "Orangina"
Saucy!
So next post will be from Jersey - we will be there for a week
