Christmas is coming

...and that means more food!

Squashed bottle Christmas tree at the Louvre

Had a lovely lunch at Catherine's house in Paris, also attended by Clarrie and Nicolas, her daughter and son, and Nicolas' fiancé, Maude. Catherine's food was superb. This is the starter - scallops with pistachio, cauliflower and chilli soup and langoustines with a lemon grass mayonnais.
Merci milles fois Catherine. Bisous.

Our last dinner in Paris was in the oldest remaining house in Paris, built in 1407,
Restaurant "Nicolas Flamel". The supporting beam in this photo has been carbon dated at
1000 years old.

A lovely meal in a great atmosphere
